WORLD NICKELSTICK BALINTAWAK ESKRIMA

World Nickelstick Eskrima was founded by Grandmaster Nicomedes ‘Nick’ Elizar on the 27th of April, 2003., after faithfully heading up the White Chapter of Teofilo Velez’s ‘Teovel’s’ Balintawak organisation for over 20 years.

The name ‘Nickelstick’ comes from a shortening of Grandmaster Nick Elizar’s name along with the word ‘stick’ to represent the single stick style which Balintawak is recognised for.

With the HQ based in Cebu, Philippines, Grandmaster Nick Elizar’s World Nickelstick Eskrima organisation currently has a number of official chapters representing him in Asia, Africa, Australia, North America, and Europe, with instructors teaching his Eskrima/Arnis syllabus and sharing his system across the globe.
